Rutvik Mehta

The artist's passion for drawing and creating with discarded materials began in childhood, utilizing waste items found around the house. However, proper guidance came from a maternal uncle Mr. Yogesh Rawal, a very famous Indian artist who was living in Paris, France, at the time. He visited and provided essential direction on basic exercises such as sketching and line drawing.

After completing their 12th grade, the artist enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts at M.S. University, Baroda, specializing in the sculpture department. Coming from a rural background, the artist was always fascinated by domestic animals, particularly their playful nature and movements, which they sought to capture on paper. The time at the fine arts faculty was dedicated to learning and practice.

Professional Engagement: During this period, the artist also had the opportunity to work with many established artists, including Ghulam Mohammad Shaikh and Raghav Kaneria. They have also actively participated in numerous art camps, exhibitions, and workshops, which proved to be invaluable for both experience and professional growth.
